About INNOTECH
INNOTECH Holztechnologien GmbH was founded in 1990 by Manfred and Thomas Stautmeister.
Since our founding we have been focused on the needs of SMEs. Initially through automation solutions and 3D-Visualisationtechnology and later on through a more project and consulting focused business concentrated on increasing our clients’ efficiency.
We work on all of our projects with dedication and passion. Our aim is to find the best possible solution for every problem. In order to do that we like to look at the bigger picture and develop interdisciplinary solutions. We will never lose sight of our clients’ needs and their individual milestones.
The technologies developed in our early years are the foundation for our current software products and consulting services. From the beginning onwards our name has stood for innovative solutions.
Managing Director
Prof. Dr.-Ing. (habil), Dr.h.C. Thomas Stautmeister, born in 1960, trained as a BMSR worker. He studied the automation of industrial plants in St. Petersburg (Russia). Following several years of working in the electrical and furniture industry, he founded INNOTECH Holztechnologien GmbH in 1990 with his father.
1998 he received his PhD on questions of optimised sequence planning in the wood and furniture industry using simulation and expert systems. In 1999 he was promoted to professor in Moscow’s Russian Academy of Sciences.
2003 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by the St. Petersburg Forest Academy for his contribution to the development of St. Petersburg’s wood and furniture industry.
Between 2004 and 2014 he was a professor for process and production engineering in the Department of Wood Technology at the Bern University of Applied Sciences’ department for architecture, wood and civil engineering in Biel.
